TH App GlobalTH App GlobalSay hello

Small studio. Fewer apps.
More care.

TH App Global is an independent mobile studio. No investors, no growth targets — just software we'd want to use ourselves, built with an early-bird work ethic.

[ ABOUT ]

Small on purpose, not by accident.

TH App Global started because we kept getting hired to build other people's apps and going home to sketch our own. Eventually we stopped waiting for permission. No investors, no board, no growth targets to hit before Q3, deciding what gets built next.

Staying small is the whole strategy. Every decision is made by someone who will personally answer the support email if it goes wrong, and every app stays simple enough that we can hold the entire thing in our heads.

How we build

six habits, checked every release
01

Sketch before code

Every screen starts on paper before a line gets written.

02

Small surface area

We say no to most features — they're hard to remove once shipped.

03

Native by default

Swift and Kotlin, never a cross-platform shortcut.

04

Beta with real users

Weeks in closed testing before anything launches.

05

No dark patterns

No forced ratings, no fake urgency, ever.

06

Support for years

We patch long after the launch-week high fades.

[ STORY ]

A studio, not a startup

2026

Our team quit client work and gave ourselves eighteen months to see if a studio of our own could pay the bills. TH App Global began as a shared Notion doc of ideas nobody else seemed to be building.

now

We build the same way we did on day one: slowly, by hand, with no roadmap beyond the next thing that annoys us enough to fix. No dark patterns, no growth hacks — just software that respects the ten minutes someone gives it.

mission

Build software that respects attention — no dark patterns, just something that works.

vision

A sustainable studio shipping fewer, better apps for as long as we can keep making them.

What we optimize for

in order, checked every ship
01

Craft over speed

We'd rather ship a year late and right than fast and forgettable.

02

Fewer features, done well

Every feature we cut is one less thing that can confuse or break.

03

Respect for attention

No push notifications you didn't ask for, no infinite scroll by default.

04

Privacy by default

We collect the minimum data required to make the app work — nothing more.

05

Long-term thinking

We plan for apps we'll still be updating in five years, not five months.

06

Direct feedback loops

Every support email reaches the team directly, not a ticketing queue.

Alex Rivera

Design & Product

Designs every screen by hand before a single line of code exists. Previously shipped consumer products at two startups that folded — this one is sticking.

Priya Nair

Engineering

Writes the Swift and Kotlin behind everything we ship. Believes most bugs are a design decision made too fast.

Built native. No shortcuts.

Every app is written directly against each platform's own frameworks.

Why we killed our onboarding flow

One of our apps launched with a 6-screen tutorial nobody finished. We deleted it and rewrote the empty state instead.

We turned off ads before we ever turned them on

A test build of one of our apps had a banner ad slot ready to go live. We ripped it out the week before launch — here is why.
